    1. A few things I really liked the story A very interesting continuation after the Freedon Nadd dualogy Perhaps a little cheesy at times, but not too bad The artwork eh, not so much Sometimes I can see how it might be really awesome for some, but just isn t for me Not in this case I am not sure why anyone would like it The cover s the main graphic novel and each compiled issue had a cover with different artwork than the rest of the series A couple of things about this 1 I would have liked it better [...]

    2. 3.75 The Dark Power of the Sith is finding new disciples and is spreading through the Universe The Jedi Knights are strong and fight for the Light, but not all of them can resist the allure of the knowledge and power the teachings of the Sith offer I really like Nomi Sunrider, although she is a bit free with her feelings, when it has barely been an year since her husband was killed And whatever happened with her daughter And master Thon This is the second book in my slow and sporadic attempt to [...]

    3. Coming of Ulic Qel Droma and the Beast Wars of Onderon , The Saga of Nomi Sunrider , and The Freedon Nadd Uprising , Tom Veitch continues his stories of the ancient Jedi knights with needed assistance from fellow rather reviled, it seems, Star Wars author Kevin J Anderson The fruits of their collaboration has resulted in the first sequel and full length story arc for Tales of the Jedi, Dark Lords of the Sith The arcs in Tales of the Jedi The Collection are rather dated The stories and lore are c [...]

    4. I m always bummed when the artwork changes for the last 1 6 of the book, but otherwise this is a great read The extent to which authors Veitch and Anderson collaborated is evident, as these stories dovetail perfectly with the Jedi Academy era novels and Young Junior Jedi Knight series and the Golden Age of the Sith and Fall of the Sith Empire and Dark Empire II comics. This book picks up where the Freedon Nadd duology leaves off, and builds up to the next series, The Sith War Some of my favorite [...]

    5. Star Wars Legends Project 9Background Tales of the Jedi Dark Lords of the Sith was released in six issues from October 94 to March 95, and was released as a trade paperback in February of 96 It was co written by Tom Veitch and Kevin J Anderson and mostly pencilled by Christian Gossett, with the final issue by Art Wetherell Wetherell s only other Star Wars work was on a series about Jabba the Hutt that appeared shortly after this He has worked on various other comics, including a Transformers ser [...]

    6. Satal and Aleema show Satal s father the power of the Sith magic they discovered on Onderon in the first Tales of the Jedi release It s pretty devious and horrible to listen to Yet, I also find the two cousins entertaining to listen to.Nomi Sunrider and Ulic Qel Droma begin to fall in love But Freedon Nadd gets his dark side claws into Ulic. And into Exar Kun.I do love seeing how Nomi s powers have improvedKun goes to Onderon and hopes to see the Sith artifacts It s highly irritating that Master [...]

    7. I m going to review this series of two audio productions together Star Wars Tales of the Jedi Star Wars Tales of the Jedi Dark Lords of the Sith , there might be spoilers within.I am not a fan of full cast productions usually because it is often times hard to tell who is talking, unless there are really distinct voices, and because the lack of narrator makes some of the story telling awkward, because it puts a lot of explaining into the mouths of the characters rather than a narrator This produc [...]

    9. Just as weird and vivid as the first Tales of the Jedi series, but now the scope is massive Now, we re dealing with enormous battle fleets and the conflict of civilizations Now, the characters we were introduced to are pawns in this galactic space opera Just as their ancient lightsabers drip with power, the story here drips with melodrama Since these stories take place so far away from normal established canon, the authors can really do whatever they want Before, authors had to deal with the fa [...]

    10. Another great addition to the Tales of the Jedi series In the story the Jedi are sent to stop Satal Keto and his cousin Aleema from spreading their Sith sorcery In the meantime, a Jedi named Exar Kun sets off on a journey to learn about Sith artifacts with the spirit of Exar Kun.I found the beginning to be a tad bit slow for my tastes, but the epic conclusion made up for it In the story we learn about the Massassi Temples on Yavin 4, the Jedi during this time, and, most importantly, Ulic Qel D [...]

    12. With Kevin Anderson joining as a second writer, the quality of the series does pick up, but admitedly not by much There are now numerous characters who have some degree of personalty and there are plenty of things going on, which was really missing from the series so far The biggest problem is that it s basically two different stories that have virtually no overlap between them until the very end Ulic Quel Droma is doing his thing with the Krath and Exar Kun has his business with the Sith ruins [...]

    13. Now this series really hits it s pace Ulic decides to take on the Dark Side threat directly by infiltrating the Krath Exar Kun falls to the Dark Side by the manipulations of spirit Freedon Nadd Lots of moral dilemmas, deep character choices, relationships tested and a few major battles keep this book moving at all times Finally all of the characters, situations and locations from previous books come together and present an exciting and dramatic piece of the Saga

    14. As entertaining as it is patchy and clumsy Jedi turn to to the dark side left, right and center, we get a little look at the Massassi, tons of Sith artefacts and some epic space battles too it s all a little incoherent and poorly thought out but somehow retains that sense of old school fun It s nice to read some Star Wars that isn t bogged down by continuity or favourite characters and I m certainly liking all of the new ones well enough.

    15. I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook The production was a lot better, I thought, than the Star Wars Tales of the Jedi audiobook I previously listened to I read the Star Wars Tales of the Jedi series when I was, if I remember correctly, in my teens Loved the story then, loved the story now I have discovered the wonder of listening to audiobooks on long drives to work and back, thanks to the Star Wars audiobooks.

    16. The artwork was the only thing holding this graphic novel back, the characters and storyline were excellently developed and provided enough intrigue to keep the story moving along smoothly Finally I have come to a point in the Tales of the Jedi series where complexity and development come together to provide a lot of page turning excitement

    18. Super Very interesting look into the workings of the sith and Jedi Sad to see good Jedi fall for the trappings of the sith, but it makes for great drama Can t wait to read the next story in the timeline to see what happens to the various characters.

    19. Not bad Interesting to learn some background on the Dark Lords They are my favorites in the Star Wars tale Some what cheesy dialogue but thats standard with these stories movies hence, the bad acting You either like them or not.

    20. Admittedly I read this as an audiobook, and the audiobook was changed from the actual text That said, the audiobook stunk out loud Don t do it.

    21. Pretty good little dramatization A lot like the first one, but I would say the story was flushed out and it all tied in better.
