Mildred Grieveson was born on October 10, 1946 in England She had written all through her infant and junior years and on into her teens, the stories changing from children s adventures to torrid gypsy passions Her mother used to gather these up from time to time, when her bedroom became too untidy, and dispose of them Mildred has always wanted to write which is not to say she has always wanted to be a professional writer One the contrary, for years She wrote only for her own pleasure, and it wasn t until her husband suggested that she ought to send one of her stories to a publisher that they put several publishers names into a hat and pulled one out The trouble was, she never used to finish any of the stories, and Caroline, her first published book as Anne Mather, was the first book she d actually completed She was newly married then, and her daughter was just a baby, and it was quite a job juggling her household chores and scribbling away in exercise books every chance she got Not very professional, as you can see, but that s the way it was The rest as they say in history And now, than 160 books later, she s literally excuse the pun staggered by what happened She also published books as Caroline Fleming or Cardine Fleming Her Anne Mather s novel, Leopard in the Snow, was developed into a 1978 movie.Mildred now has two grown up children, a son and daughter, and two adorable grandchildren, Abigail and Ben.

    1. Okay like 2.5 stars This is one of those books that I had on my TBR for a while and was hesitant to pick up because the title is boring and kind of vague Wicked Caprice.Wicked Mischievous or playfully malicious caprice a sudden or unpredictable changing of mind or attitude What does that tell us Somebody in the story changes his mind about somebody in a playfully malicious way Or somebody s attitude radically changes due to suddenly lax morals I bet this is an Ooops, I m sorry I thought you wer [...]

    2. I bought this book a while back but never really felt inclined to read it, I m not a massive fan of the title But I really enjoyed reading this one.The relationship between the hero and heroine is built really well by the author, there is plenty of passion and angst, with a little bit of misunderstanding thrown in.The hero was particularly well crafted he was at war with his feelings towards the heroine and this is portrayed beautifully The heroine has a great mix of feistiness and naivety that [...]

    3. this book had a special blend of uniqueness and awkwardness which i found enchanting patrick acted like manwhore who cud not keep his dick out of his pants he fell madly in lust wid isobel on 1st sight though she was not attractive she dressed awfully and had an ugly hairstyle yet, he pursued her relentlessly i guess he got a kick out of annoying the frustrated spinster it was unforgivable of him to take advantage of a naive virgin while lying to her all along, about his identity and being alrea [...]

    5. Heroine and heroine meet when he goes to her shop thinking she is having an affair with his brother in law Which really isn t true, he is taking classes of the arts above her shop Eventually the hero falls in love with the heroine and her spunky personality After a bit of setbacks we finally receive our happy ending. The book was alright but at the end or towards the end of the novel, it loses all steam and gets kind of boring.

    6. Pretty decent one Lost some steam toward the end, but I liked it overall The hero said, God too often I kept imagining it said like the kid from Napoleon Dynamite.

    7. Roman sevdim ama son b l m neydi yle yaa okudu umdan bi ey anlamad m hem neden 110 sayfada bitti ki son b l m daha uzun tutulabilirmi asl nda

    8. This was a decent read But there was one thing that irked me I don t mind a virgin heroin, in fact I prefer it But when there isn t a good reason explanation for said virginity I get annoyed, especially when the virgin is 28 What, she didn t have a social life Friends at collage Usually the reason is that the h has had obligations, such as taking care of siblings or sick parents grandparents, but in this story there wasn t a real reason that I could detect.
