    1. guide to stars two stars means it was ok And it was ok, but no Having read the excellent How to be an Alien by George Mikes upon recommendation of my English lecturer, I was delighted to find this other work of him.Suffice to say it was dull Where the one is witty, dry and genuine, this book is trying too hard to show its funny side.

    2. It could have been so much , but only in comparison to several of his other books, written about settings which he knew far better.
